CPS specializes in high-precision high voltage power supplies used for focused electron beam, scanning electron microscopes, electrophoresis, focused ion beam, and NUMEROUS other applications.  Many of CPS’s power supplies are the result of custom designs.


Our high voltage power supplies feature exceptionally low drift, ripple, and temperature coefficients.

Our newest microscope power source provides -30kv accelerator voltage, 10kV bias/focus voltage and up to 5 amps for the gun's filament. The bias and filament supplies are floating at the acclerator voltage. An isolated serial communication link to an external computer allows controlling the three supplies and monitoring their outputs. The supplied software includes a Windows graphical user interface and its DLL. The source is available from CPS.

 

We also design and manufacture high voltage probes used in calibrating, monitoring and testing high voltage power supplies, CRT display systems, microwave systems, nuclear instrumentation and other high voltage equipment.
