Power Supply Engineer
Job Summary
A Power Electronics Engineer is needed to design switching power supply electronics, power factor correction circuits, and acquire CE certification for new and existing designs. This position has nothing to do with motor controls, it is strictly for the design of switching power supplies and their application to high voltage circuits.
Qualifications
We are looking for a creative engineer with an BSEE in power electronics capable of creating new designs for ripple and emissions reduction, power magnetics, power factor correction, power switching circuits and high voltage multipliers. This engineer must perform all hardware design tasks. These include schematic entry, breadboarding, writing instruction manuals and applications notes, list of material and test programs. Applicants must be nonsmokers and pass a drug screening test.
Support
This position is supported with electronic technicians and circuit board layout designers. The selected engineer will work as a team member with one other engineer who will provide high voltage electronics training.
