The HVP-252 high voltage probe is an accurate tool for calibrating, monitoring and testing high voltage power supplies, CRT display systems, microwave systems, nuclear instrumentation and other high voltage equipment. Calibration data is traceable to NIST primary standards.

The divider probe is only 12 inches long, weighs 1.8 lb., and utilizes CPS' unique epoxy encapsulation process to provide a safe, yet manageable device. Model HVP-252 is designed for use with high impedance voltmeters. Divider ratios of 1,000:1 and 10,000:1 are standard. Circuit loading is 1,000 MOhm.

Signal Response
Special circuits within the HVP-252 allow measuring high frequency signals. This model shows a flat signal response from DC to50 kHz as tested with a square wave signal source.

Accessories
Standard accessories include two tips, a corona ball and a pointed tip. A hook style tip is optional. The optional HVT-30 Ripple Detector permits use of two HVP-252 Divider Probes together and 30 kV of capacitive decoupling for oscilloscope use.
